Cold? Yes. Rainy? Absolutely.
But did that stop our community from showing up and showing out? Not a chance.
Despite unseasonably chilly weather and surprise showers, the 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament & Silent Auction at Hunter Ranch Golf Course turned into one of our most memorable events yet. Rain jackets replaced polos and umbrellas popped up across the course, but the energy stayed high and the spirit of generosity never wavered.
Golfers hit the course early, greeted by new events, local vendors, and the smell of sizzling food in the air. Every hole had something special—tastings, giveaways, and plenty of laughs. The course was alive not just with competition, but with community.
For the first time ever, our silent auction went digital, opening the doors to bidders from beyond the course. The response blew us away—people showed up online just as much as they did in person, all eager to support a cause that matters.
And then came the soul. As the tournament wound down, Leslie and the Soulshakers took the stage and transformed the afternoon into a celebration. Their high-energy performance had people relaxing, and soaking in the joy of a day well spent.
More vendors. More food. More fun. More support than we’ve ever seen.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who played, donated, and volunteered with us. You made this day what it was—something truly special.
Photo Evidence
The weather may have been chilly, but the smiles, camaraderie, and community spirit warmed up the entire day—and we’ve got the photos to prove it. From rain-soaked swings and bundled-up vendors to unforgettable moments with Leslie and the Soulshakers, this gallery captures the heart of an event that shined through the storm.
Huge thanks to our photographers who braved the elements to catch every candid, celebration, and soaked sock.

Impact of the Funds Raised
The $40,000 raised will have a profound impact on our APF programs. These funds will support various initiatives, including:
- The Luca Benedetti Memorial Scholarship Program: Providing financial assistance to deserving local students pursuing higher education in the fields of criminal justice and public service.
- Guardians of Honor: Sending Atascadero Police Department members to escort local veterans on their Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., to visit the national memorials in their honor.
- ECHO Birthday Program & Holiday Heroes Toy Drive : Ensuring children from in-need families and local youth feel celebrated throughout the year, and receive toys during the holiday season.
Thank You to Our Sponsors and Volunteers
We’re incredibly grateful to our returning title sponsors—West Coast Towing, Pro Tow, and Cal Coast Construction—for once again stepping up in a big way. Your continued support helps power this event and the mission behind it, year after year.
A special shoutout goes to our volunteers—a record number this year, with many joining us for the very first time. Whether you were directing golfers, setting up vendor booths, running registration, or simply lending a hand wherever it was needed, your energy and dedication didn’t go unnoticed.
To every sponsor, vendor, and volunteer: thank you. You’re the reason we can keep growing this event and expanding the reach of the Atascadero Police Foundation’s work in our community.
We truly couldn’t do it without you.
Looking Forward
The 14th Annual Atascadero Police Charity Golf Tournament was an unforgettable day, filled with generosity, camaraderie, and community spirit—despite the chilly weather! We’re already looking forward to next year’s event, and with hopes for sunnier skies, we can’t wait to see even more participants come together in support of our APF programs.
Thank you once again to everyone who made this event a success. Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people in our Atascadero community.
We look forward to seeing you all again in 2026!
