Are you ready to Patch It Forward? We are thrilled to announce the Atascadero Police Foundation (APF) is participating in the Pink Patch Project, a vibrant initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. This project not only allows us to unite as a community but also empowers us to support a meaningful cause close to our hearts.
What is the Pink Patch Project?

The Pink Patch Project was launched in 2013 to raise awareness about breast cancer and to help fund vital research and support initiatives. Since then, over 900 unique pink patches have been designed and sold by Pink Patch Project partners to benefit breast cancer research. The APF is proud to be a Pink Patch partner in 2024 and police officers in Atascadero will have the ability to proudly wear A-town pink patches on their uniforms throughout the month. These eye-catching patches are more than just a fashion statement—they represent hope, solidarity, and our collective commitment to fighting cancer.
Supporting the Jacqualyn Palchak Cancer Fund
All proceeds from the sale of our pink patches and lapel pins will benefit the Jacqualyn Palchak Cancer Fund. This incredible fund has been supporting cancer research and providing essential resources for individuals and families impacted by cancer within our San Luis Obispo County community since 2003. By purchasing these items, you’re not just showing your support; you’re actively contributing to local efforts that make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.
